“Diggin’Dukes is vital to our program as we continue providing our student-athletes with elite resources and the best experience possible during their career as a JMU Duke. We want to offer them the very best student-athlete experience on the field, in the classroom, and in the Harrisonburg community during their time bleeding purple and gold!” - Coach Jennifer Herzig
About Our Campaign
The JMU Softball team is looking to enhance our program's success by implementing the use of new technology, and we need your help to get there!!
By adding new technology to our facilities, it will allow us to:
- Make our training as realistic as possible, as though we're actively in game play;
- Provide us with immediate and concrete feedback that allows us to break down our game to improve our skills; and
- Allow us to compete with other programs in the Sun Belt and our region that already have this technology implemented into their facilities and training regimens.
Since joining the Sun Belt Conference, the level of competition has increased drastically. In addition to improved on-field talent within the conference, competitive coaching and strategic game-planning has also improved significantly. To sustain success for years to come, the ability to train with technology comparable to that of our new opponents will be vital. In turn, this will bring us a big step closer to chasing our first Sun Belt championship title!
