Make sure The Pantry continues to serve all students, no questions asked.
After learning that 38% of JMU students surveyed in 2023 reported experiencing food insecurity, the Class of 1972 began supporting The Pantry at JMU as a meaningful way to give back because their generation of Dukes had enjoyed three hot meals a day.
All supporters of The Pantry believe access to food should never stand in the way of a student’s success.
The Pantry provides students access to healthy, reliable meals when they need them most. The continued support of alumni like the Class of ’72 reflects a shared commitment to caring for today’s Dukes.
A gift of $100 helps support 43 student visits to The Pantry or provides 215 pounds of food through our partnership with the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank. With your support, we can continue to reduce food insecurity among JMU students.
